Baby Animal Crackers

Well this is the third time I am adding my journalling to this post; for some reason it will not save it along with the photo.I made this card for our Youth Pastor and his wife who just had (a week ago today) their first child and I can hardly wait to meet Baby Tyson.

This is the first time I have used the "Animal Crackers" stamp set becasue I have been playing with other stamp sets. This is one of the many perks if being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

I have been stamping for four years and nine months ago I became a demonstrator with the mind set to purchase my stamps at a discount and maybe a few items and in this short time I have developed a love for paper crafting and wnt to turn it into a business that allows me to be at home and do what I love.I cannot imagine my life without Stampin' Up! and would like to share the opportunity with those around me. If you have ever thought about getting some free product, or product at a discount, or making some extra income or wondered what Stampin' Up! has to offer this opportunity could be for you! Worst case scenario you get lots of great stamping stuff at a very discounted price in the starter kit! Best case scenario you establish relationships and friendships that will last a life time and maybe some free stamps!

If you live in the Tillsonburg/London area, I invite you attend my upline's quarterly meeting in May 2009 with me to check out what Stampin' Up! has to offer or just meet the ladies I have so much fun with (Heather is sweet, fun and so talented).

If you are a Canadian and think that this may be an opportunity you would enjoy I encourage you to email me privately at dale.livingston@sympatico.ca as I would love to talk with you to see if you think Stampin' Up! would be right for you or check out the Stampin Up! webpage at http://www.stampinup.com OK, I can't believe how GREAT Stampin' Up! truly is! having a sign up deal starting August 11th!!! HOW AMAZING!!! If Stampin' Up! is something you've ever thought about, if you want cheaper stamping supplies or you just spend lots (I know a bunch of you that fit this category!) this could be for you!!! Here are the details:

It is cold outside but the skies are blue and the sun is shining (in the winter it seems the sun only shines when it it is really cold). Sunshine reminds me of Spring and I can hardly wait.

I know Spring will not come any faster but it makes me happy thinking about it.

When: Monday, March 30, 2009
Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm

I was so excited about posting this project that I didn't wait until I had proper lighting so I do apologise for the poor quality of this photograph.
I got the idea of the purse from Becky and from there I changed the designer paper and added four notecards.
I am offering this as a class on and you will make 4 gift cards with envelopes and the cute little bag to hold them in.

Cool enough for a teenager...

It seems I am always creating paper crafts for my daughter however, this Valentines I was determined to come up with something for my 14 year old son.
Justin plays the drums (he is really good too) and is learning to play the electric guitar so I needed something cool, rockin' and Valentines; hmmm.
I thought how perfect would Rockabilly DP and Just Jawing be paired together to form a treasure box for a cool teen on Valentine's Day.
Recipe:
Stamps: Just Jawing
Paper: Rockabilly DP, Riding Hood Red texture c/s, Halloween DP, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black
Embellishments: Black & White gingham ribbon, crystal effects, 3 heart punch
I was pleased with the end results and Justin was able to contain his excitement too while looking pleased at the same time.
Hope you like it. Hug the ones you love not just today but everyday.

My photo does not do this cute little gift justice but it really is sweet.
This quick and easy little gift is sure to lift anyones spirits and make there day...afterall who doesn't like a cup of tea and some chocolate!? Inside the cover is a double treat holder the size of a tea bag which could hold two tea bags, 2 chocolates (Ghiradelli fits perfectly) or one of each.
Receipe:
Stamps: Love You Much
Paper: Candy Lane DP, Pink Pirouette, Very Vanilla
Ink: Riding Hood Red, Versa Mark
Embellishments: Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon, Clear embossing powder, 1/2" circle punch, 1/8" hand held circle punch, dimensionals

I used the circle punch to cut out half circles on the inside for easy removal of the tea or chocolate.

39 Days Until Spring

Well it's a grey, wet dreary day in Southwestern Ontario today which makes for a happy day inside because I get to stamp. Actually I get to stamp everyday but on rainy days I do not feel one bit of guilt. Spring is not that far off and on those nice days I want to be outdoors more.
Speaking of Spring...I was so inspired by a project on Becky 's blog that I had to CASE it.
The gable box holds 4 3x3 thank you cards and there is a divider which holds a little notebook.
To bring on Spring I will be offering this as a class on:
When: Monday, March 2, 2009
Time: 7:00 - 9:00pm
Cost: $25

Water Colouring Made Easy

I have to say this is a honey of a project and it is one of the projects I made from UStamp.
This fun project not only taught me how to make this card set and a sweet bag to keep the cards but it also taught me how to watercolour using different techniques.
I would like to offer this as a class so if this is something you are interested in, plese e-mail me at dale.livingston@sympatico.ca .
