Clean & Simple

I am not sure if I saw this card layout somewhere or not but I sat down and started stamping and this is what I came up with. If I have viewed this card from somewhere else please let me know so I can give credit to you.

I am really pleased with the way these cards turned out. Wouldn't they be lovely as a boxed set or wrapped with a belly band?

I love the way the embossing turned out on the Bermuda Bay card...it looks like flocked paper.

Recipe:

Stamps: Medallion, Best Yet

Paper: (top card) Melon Mambo, Whisper White, (bottom) Bermuda Bay
Ink: Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay respectively, versa mark, whisper white

Embellishments: Polk Dot Grosgrain ribbon, scallop oval punch, scallop punch, heat tool

Remember to punch out the scallop oval one layer at a time as the punched will not work through two sheets of cardstock. The sentiment was stamped on the inside of the card, making it a

peek-a-boo style card.

To obtain the In Colour Embossing, I first inked up my stamp with vers mark and then applied the in colour ink on top of this and stamped the image on Whisper White card stock. Then I sprinkled clear embossing powder and applied heat. This will give you an embossed coloured image on white cardstock

Old Meets New

One of the new stamp sets in the catalogue coming out in one week from today is Circle Circus that I have not ordered yet (one of the benefits of being a Stampin' Up! demonstratoris to preorder) becasue I thought well I have the Big Flowers sets and thought it would do (for now).
I combined the old stamp set with the new In Colours. I saw this card here and wanted to try the ribbon technique and went with the same layout.
This card is so easy and fast to make.

Paper: Bermuda Bay, Soft Suede, Melon Mambo, Whisper White
Embellishments: Crushed Curry 1/2" Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, Scallop Circle punch, 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" circle punch, dimensional

Holiday Gift Bag and Monogram Cards

This is another project idea I got from UStamp and I am very pleased with the way it turned out.

The gift bag is made from a white lunch bag and I have put 6 monogram cards with envelopes inside.

I used the phrase "Just Becasue I Care" because I may give this before Christmas. The cards are blank inside and therefore they could be used for a Thank You card, thinking of you, or just a note card.
