Yesterday I posted a bonus project I made from UStamp Spring '09 and today I am posting another card from the UStamp Spring Tutorial.
I am giving you a sneak peak at one of the cards (out of 5) I made from Project #2.
Included with this set is a box to put the cards and envelopes in.
The best part is that I learned how to stamp one piece of Whisper White cardstock (which would make it my DSP) and cut it in a fashion to make 5 cards and decorate a box...how cool is that!
If you want to see the rest of the cards and box you will have to sign up for UStamp Spring 09. Trust me you won't be disappointed. The tutorials are tops, videos are fantastic, and the projects are spectacular.
Go ahead and check out their site; I dare you.

Wish Big
This is another birthday card I made with the students on Monday. I think the fabulous spring weather we were having brought out the bold brights and makes me smile.
My biggest fear is forgetting something at home that I need to make the card as planned. Guess what? I forgot the small and large wheel I had planned on using for the orange and turquoise on this card. My plan was to teach the students how to use the wheel using the same colour ink as the cardstock but the card turned out fine anyways.
In hind sight everything worked out becasue this gave a more relaxed lunch for the students. I have to remember to make the cards clean and simple as they do have to eat their lunch in ten minutes and then have 40 minutes to stamp two cards.
The kids were happy wioth their cards anyways and that is what counts.

Simple & Fun
On the weekend, I was preparing for the volunteer work I do at my children's school when the weather was sunny and gorgeous outside...this is the reason for the popscicle card.
Today is rainy and cooler so the orange creamscicle has lost its appeal.
This card was demonstrated last summer but I thought it would be perfect for the students to do during lunch break.
It is simple and fun and I had a variety of flavours - gabel green (lime) yoyo yellow (lemon), and only orange (orange).
Recipe:
Stamps: Tart and Tangy, Family Phrases
Paper: Only Orange, Gabel Green, YoYo Yellow, Whisper White
Ink: same as cardstock colours
Embellishments: Coordinating ribbon, popscicle sticks, scallop circle punch, 1 1/4 & 1 3/8 circle punch, dimensionals

Pop-Up Card Challenge
Actually, I tend to be a bit conservative in everything I do; including stamping.
It was not until I saw what Heather had created using the new Pop-Up die from Stampin' Up! that I fell in love with it.
Heather had given everyone in her downline the pieces to build our own idea and I could hardly wait to get at it. I have had the package from Heather for a week and finally got to making my Pop-Up card.
I used a stamp set that is now retried but when I saw the colours of card stock Heather had sent me, all I thought of is a little princess.
I made the card up last night, took the photos this morning and gave the card away already to a little princess who just turned one. I hope you like it Elysse!
Thanks for stopping by stampers-I know it has bee a few weeks since my last post. I will try to be more disciplined in this area.
